Despite a rainy start to day one of DCS D Town Service everyone showed up excited and ready to work. Reverand Lawson of St. Stephens Church contacted us about a need for Mrs. Green. Mrs. Green is a former teacher having taught in the Dillon School system for 32 years. Mrs. Green is 70 years old and loved keeping her yard and gardening for many years. Now she is unable to do garden as she would like. 
Mrs. Green was very excited to have so much help and have young people visit her!
We removed the old broken shutters from the house, cut the front and back lawn, did "weed eating", pulled weeds and Mrs. Green's favorite part adding red geraniums along her walkway.
